European contributions to the concept of lifelong learning
Belgium - Griet Peters and Katrien Boeraeve from KLJ made a presentation about the non formal education promoted within KLJ and a project of valorization of the competences acquired within the Flemish youth movements.
Bulgaria - Maria Peeva from NALFAP made a presentation about a project of mixed school for disabled children which provides them education and promotes their social integration.
Poland - Joanna Krech, Hubert Krech and Tadousz Szmigiel from “Edukacj I Rozwoj” presented their project “Let’s go kindergarten! Small kindergartens in Lower Silesia”, in which they implemented 35 kindergardens for children living in rural areas who have no access to education before 6 years old.
Germany - Theresia Runde from KLJB presented a political paper recently published by KLJB about the role of schools for promoting social life in rural areas and the importance of balancing formal and non formal education for the development of the children.
